this is actually a kids run... adults can only participate with kids. More like a day out at Bird Park, and only run for 1.2km. Good for Alice and family.

Bounce Meter
Hey O ... just took my Pedo last weekend ... and I have decided to name it Bounce Meter
Monday 15103 (got kick fit classes)
Tuesday 12181 (got ABT classes)
Wednesday 9763 (Normal day)
Thursday 9741 (Normal day)
Friday 16522 (Went Window shopping at Toa Payoh)
Impressive iss't ...
But I did a small test on wednesday.. I walked 10 steps then check the meter... the meter actually increased to 20 steps ... I tried to place it on other part of my waist (instead of the tip og my tummy) still very sensative... i set the sensativity to the least but till one move will trigger the count.... and u know a bus ride will give me extra 200-300 steps...
What is this - Bounce meter.... it just measure how many time my tummy bounce lor....
I am not too sure if both of you got the same problem.. but try to do the test.... one of the way to counter it IS set Daily target to 20000 steps (since one step=2 bounce....) ai yo ... i will stay a Bounce record soon le... happy weekend ...
And Ivy , I transfered the money to you liao.. today ...

Success Plan - My Neighbour lost 60kg!!!
This is a real life case
There is this Kaka who stay at 6th floor of my block... she WAS 160kg last year ... guess what she is now 90kg ++ only...
She is above 50 years old, mother of 3 kids... It was after a life threatening event that changes her life. She told me she was hospitalised for a month, cannot breath and hardly moved.
So once she is discharged, she spent her morning walking, walking, and walking for an hour. Until now she prob walks about 5km per morning ba.. she comes back dripping in sweats... but she look happier and younger now.. she always tell me, " Ai if you are not working u can walk with me...." Too bad my schedule very tight (Lame excuses) ....
So everytime I see her, I remind myself it is possible, with determination.
So what we lack is the Determination. So Jia you Jia you
(Oh of course she reduce her food intake too lah)

Diet Plan - Success Story from Mama
Haha ... bet you girls will be jeolousy that mama passed me the secret of her slimming diet plan right ... she passed to me cos she think I am hopelessly overweight ba .. kekeee
Okay for the past 2 months, she has been cooking drumstick + veg (like carrot, bittergourd, cabbage lah) and have it for lunch and dinner... and not fogetting she totally dun eat bread now (er what she ate for breakfast? A pot of coffee)... and she lost abot 2 kg without any exercise....
But since last week she need to cook dinner for Papa and benny, so she herself reckon that she will put on the weights back , hence she share with me her story loh...
Seemed easy har.... okay if i go market on sunday I will try .... for as long as i can ...

Monday is for dieting. Tuesday is for craving. Wednesday s for getting on the scale . And Thursday is for reflecting . (well they never mention abt friday , so I assume Friday is a FREE day).
I will be extracting s few of the good ones and share with you all.... to Nourish our soul....
and at the end of each daily inspiration, half a page is for dieter's delights and deliemmas (now u see why $23.95 cannot sell) .. so this is good for some reflection...
I will still keep the Weigh In record alive... and will add the pedometer once i take from mama house.... and exercise still the same ABT and Kickfit lor ...

Beivied - Shopping List
Ok, I still got a few things that I wanna buy to help in the keep fit regime..
Two 0.5kg weights - Hanping has this big metal weight but I want small weights for toning purpose only
Swimming goggles - So that I dont get dry swollen eyes after lap swimming
Medicine ball - good for balance exercising
Yoga mat - so that i dont have to lie on cold floor to do stretching exercises
Milkshake drink container - so that I can drink Ensure without lumps of powder.. this is to fill me up before I sleep, cos on NYK shift I get very hungry in the morning, but I really shouldnt eat cos it is like supper just before you sleep..

Beivied - Weight Blog
I couldnt have started this without my new purchase on Saturday - a weighing scale! And in the effort of finding one reasonably priced digital scale, I walked four shops and probably (hopefully) burned some calories in the midst of it..
I will record my weight movements every now and then, and only record the body fat and water content whenever 1) there is a change, or 2) when I remember to check, or 3) monthly. 哎呀,看心情啦!

70.7kg - this is the weight recorded at SGH today. Noticed how one good exercise workout brought my weight down by 1.5kg, but no more exercise in the week, I gained back 700 grams. Exercise is very important!!

Swimming - 20 laps (one lap is swim to and fro once) Hanping say that should be about 2kilometres
Walking - didnt have pedometer on, walked to swimming pool and back home, total 40 minutes
Update: I have changed the blog name to Activity Blog, so that I should blog everyday what I am doing physically, not just about exercise. (Ok, I am doing this cos I didnt exercise today!!)

Bathed two dogs - trust me, it should burn some calories
Sweep the floor of whole house - twice in living room - lots of dog fur, once is not enuff
Mopped the whole house
Hang up mattress and duvet covers
Keep dried clothes, segregate and keep into wardrobe Beat Tofu dog for urinating on the floor at 10.35pm when I have cleaned the whole house and ready to bathe and go to work. Does getting angry burn calories?
